Regarding the polarity of the DC jack commonly used in an effects unit power supply, in almost cases the inner center pin is minus (-)" and the outer sleeve is plus (+)", with a 2.1 mm center pin diameter. Therefore, commercially available AC adapters and power supply units mainly support this specification. But there are effects units that use mini-plugs, inverted polarity center plus", or a 2.5 mm center pin in the DC jack. A DC conversion cable has to be used to connect such an effects unit to a common adapter or power supply unit.

  • CP-M35CV is a conversion cable for an effects unit using a 3.5 mm mini-plug to receive electric power.
  • CP-R25CV is a polarity inverting conversion cable for an effects unit using a 5.52.5 mm barrel connector with center plus (+) polarity.
  • CP-R25CV can be used for Eventide¨ TIME FACTOR/MOD FACTOR/PITCH FACTOR/SPACE and LINE6¨ DL4/MM4/FM4 (as of September 2015).
  • CP-R21CV is a polarity inverting conversion cable for an effects unit using a 5.52.1 mm barrel connector with center plus (+) polarity.
