With its menacing, all-over blackest of black satin finishes, distinctive lines and designs that speak for themselves, the V100VMX features Vintage's renowned craftsmanship, quality tonewoods, exceptional playability and premium hardware to produce killer metal guitars, specifically designed to handle every genre of metal, from heavy to thrash, to death metal and beyond.

Hardware that includes time-tested Wilkinson® open double coil pickups in the bridge and neck positions that deliver a full frequency response. Roll back the volume control and they sparkle and chime, at full tilt they roar with a powerful meaty output that’s perfect for low-end palm-muted chugging and monster soaring lead lines with endless sustain, looking stunning, again, finished in black with black surrounds that compliment the Wilkinson T.O.M. bridge, tailpiece and machine heads.

With its classic single cutaway, set-neck design, the V100VMX is offset with matching cream body bindings, headstock binding and lightning-fast 22 fret bound rosewood fingerboard, inlaid with crown position markers and XX motif spanning the 12th fret.

Body:
Single cutaway mahogany body with carved maple cap in satin black finish.
Body provides resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort, with a graceful descending bass side shoulder and an ingeniously-designed offset heel providing improved access to the upper reaches of the fretboard.

Bridge:
Wilkinson T.O.M. bridge, enables fine-tuning of each string for superb intonation all over the fretboard.

Pickups:
A pair of Wilkinson WMSH Open Double Coils, black finish with black surrounds, mixing traditional appearance with contemporary punch and power, with exceptional sustain and dynamics.

Controls:
Twin master Volume and Tone controls with three-way pickup selector switch.

Machine heads:
Wilkinson WJ04 machine heads with smooth action for reliable tuning stability.

Neck:
One piece Mahogany set neck with classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel.

Fingerboard:
Rosewood for outstanding tonal transfer, responsiveness and durability with a traditional 12" radius for superb playability and feel. XX inlay at 12th fret.
